The UNL Information Security team has been meeting with individuals the last couple of months to discuss a variety of topics related to computer security: DUO Two Factor, Laptop Encryption, Best Practices in Security (e.g., utilizing VPN for all remote access, antivirus, asset management, etc), and Security Awareness Training.
There are a couple of initiatives which will happen this fall related to authentication and remote access to UNL systems. Come hear about these initiatives and ask any questions you have about information security or computer security. If you would like to attend remotely – you can do so by pointing your browser to connect.unl.edu/its-forum.
There are only 3 sessions left to participate in the discussions. We hope you can join us at one of these sessions:
Thursday, July 31, 11 am-noon, East Campus Union or via connect.unl.edu/its-forum
Tuesday, August 12, 2-3pm, Nebraska Union City Campus or via connect.unl.edu/its-forum
