Better Security, Not Just More.

Dear Duo Customer,

As a Duo Security customer with an RDP application, we wanted to proactively alert you that support for Windows 10 is expected to be available in mid-August. To maintain Duo’s two-factor offerings on your machine(s), please wait to upgrade to Windows 10 until we release a compatible version of Duo for RDP.

What to know until the release:

  * If you need to upgrade to Windows 10 before a compatible version of Duo for RDP is released, uninstall Duo Credential Provider 1.1.18 or earlier from your PC before upgrading in order to prevent being LOCKED OUT.
  * If you have already upgraded to Windows 10 or are using a new Win10 machine, do not install Duo’s RDP application at this time.
  * Windows 10 machines with the Duo RDP application installed will lock users out after locking the screen, restarting, or logging out. If you are locked out, follow the instructions here<> to uninstall Duo in Safe Mode and regain access.
